Menu Bars
When one enters a management area of Sundial (i.e. "Preferences", "Templating", "Publishing", "Messages", "Add Event"), the primary means of navigation through the area's functions and screens is its menu bar. Menu bars appear as a blue horizontal strip visible at the top of the screen.
The currently selected menu option appears highlighted on the menu bar.
A yellow sub-menu bar appears below the menu bar when a selected menu option offers several sub-functions or screens. Again, the presently selected sub-menu option is highlighted.
Throughout this manual, the means of accessing a given screen or function will be written as follows:
Management Area > Menu Item > Sub-Menu Item
For example, the following:
Event Manager > Publish Event > Log
directs the reader to:
- Open the Event Manager management area
- Click Publish Event within Event Manager's menu bar
- Click Log within the sub-menu that appears.
